Tourism Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows is an industry-driven, market-led, non-profit destination marketing organization. The mandate of the society is to manage, develop, support and act as the official delivery agency for tourism in the Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows area. By working closely with industry and local stakeholders, Tourism Maple Ridge & Pitt Meadows has produced a comprehensive strategy for developing and promoting a roster of distinct destination products to attract tourists to our area.

Our approach to tourism development is based on the fundamental principle that any tourism initiatives, and the industry as a whole, must benefit our communities from an economic, environmental, and social stand point. Therefore, our tourism strategy is developed together with the community so that our beautiful natural surroundings - the basis to our success in tourism -is protected and enhanced in the process. Our current primary visitor markets are the western United States, Alberta and other parts of BC. By capitalizing on our diverse offerings of outdoor experience and other broad-based opportunities together with our close proximity to Vancouver, the potential for exponential tourism growth in both communities is outstanding.
