If you love camping and the great outdoors, then you'll definitely want to visit Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. Our communities offer some of the most extensive camping opportunities in the province and are located just 45 minutes outside of Vancouver! Golden Ears Provincial Park, located in Maple Ridge, is one of the largest parks in BC and offers a wide array of recreational offerings. The extensive trail system within the part provides an excellent opportunity for hiking and horseback riding. Alouette Lake is a popular spot for picnicking, swimming, windsurfing, boating, water-skiing, canoeing and fishing. The park also has three large campgrounds with a total of 409 campsites. Rolley Lake Park is predominately flat and surrounded by a lush growth of trees, offering excellent hiking and picnicking. Ridge Campground is a municipal campground located just South/West of
Golden Ears Provincial Park. Situated in a protected and intimate setting,
Maple Ridge Campground offers 50 campsites, each equipped with a picnic
table. A children's playground and water park is located nearby, as is
a baseball diamond and playing field. Excellent fishing and hiking are
also available, with quick and easy access to downtown Maple Ridge. For
