lie on the north side of the Fraser River. They are bordered by Mission
to the East and Port Coquitlam to the West.

A. The population of Maple Ridge is approximately
65, 000 and the population for Pitt Meadows is approximately 20,000.

What do I need to enter Canada?
A. The following documents are needed for entry
into Canada:
- U.S. citizens and permanent residents require birth or baptismal certificate
or voter's registration card. A driver's license is not accepted as proof
of citizenship.
- Naturalized citizens require green card or other document proving citizenship
- Alien residents require alien card
- All other international visitors require valid passports and, in some
cases, entry visas
- All international visitors, including U.S. residents, should be aware
of currency exchange rates. Currency exchange is available at Canadian
banks but it is recommended that Canadian currency be purchased before
arriving in Canada.

If I'm not a Canadian resident, how can I claim my tax refund for purchases
made during my trip to Canada?
A. One way to claim your tax refund is to complete
and send in an "Application for Visitor Tax Refund" form. You
must attach original receipts to this form. Another option is to visit
one of the participating duty-free shops to obtain a cash refund for eligible
claims that do not exceed CAN$500. For more details about who qualifies
